Ubusunakami leads to the original god

The planet earth came into being because of the breath of the original being. I feel the soul of the earth to be the Earth Spirit = Kunitokotachiohokami(国常立太神).

  • earth 地球
  • come into being 出現する
  • breath 息吹
  • original 根源の
  • being 存在
  • feel A to be~ Aを〜であると感じる

When the surface of the earth is covered with magma and its lava is moving, Kunitokotachiohokami feels like a huge dragon god. It looks like a corona is bouncing spirally on the surface of the earth.

  • surface 表面
  • be covered with A Aで覆われている
  • lava 溶岩
  • feel like A Aのように感じる
  • huge 巨大な
  • dragon god 龍神
  • look like S+V SがVするように見える
  • bounce 跳ねる
  • spirally 螺旋状に

After the dragon god raced around on the surface and finished the construction, it halted in a place and slept. The body of the dragon was immobilized and tuned into the land of Japanese islands. And the sun, which came into being from the original being similarly, brought up lives on the earth. The spirit of the sun is the Sun Spirit = Amaterasuohomikami(天照太御神).

  • race around 駆け巡る
  • construction 創世
  • halt 立ち止まる
  • immobilize 固定化する
  • turn into A Aに変わる
  • land 大地
  • similarly 同様に
  • bring up A Aを育てる

All of the people who were born in Japan, including those who have foreign nationalities, were born on the body of Kunitokotachiohokami and have been raised by Amaterasuohomikami. All the Ubusunakami leads to Amaterasuohomikami and reaches the Original God.

  • lead to A Aに通じる

If you don’t know your Ubusunakami, it is better to worship Amaterasuohomikami. You can get Jingu-taima-huda(神宮大麻札), a type of household talisman put in the house issued by Grand Shrine of Ise, at any Ichinomiya(一の宮), the supreme shrine in a region.

  • worship 祭る

When I visit Grand Shrine of Ise, I make it a rule to visit Gekuu(外宮),Naikuu(内宮) and Izawanomiya(伊雑宮), where I buy Kenbaraihuda(剣払札), a kind of house talisman whose top is sharp,  for 500 yen. Coming home, where I put them in Kamidana, a household Shinto altar, and look at them, I find a special paper, which sacred spirits can come close to,  rolled up around a sacred wooden stick in an old traditional way. I am really appreciative of it. Sacred spirits can come close to and reside on it.

  • make it a rule to~ 〜するようにしている
  • buy A for B AをBで買う
  • altar 祭壇
  • find A pp Aが〜されているのがわかる
  • roll up A Aを巻く

  • appreciateive 有り難く思う

All gods leads to the Sun God. As “warmth” can produce anything in the world, so the source of producing gods is also “warmth.” The Sun God can be said to be the nearest to the Original God. Since the ancient times, Japan has been a country which puts the Sun God in the center of the country. Its national flag is the sun. Japan is a genuine country of the sun. I’m glad to have been born here in this county.
