FAQ 41

Question:

I visited the grave the other day. When I put my hands together, should I wear a Buddhist rosary? I don’t have it, so I think it’s time to buy one. If you have any advice on what kind of rosary I should buy, please let me know.

  • grave 墓
  • the other day 先日
  • rosary 数珠

Answer:

If you don’t hold enough memorial services with gratitude for your ancestors, your aura is thin. So it is not bad to wear a rosary when you visit the grave so as not to be possessed. To be extreme, any ring makes do. The one made from hemp would be much better. Just as a headband makes you concentrate, the ring on the wrist tightens your spiritual body, keeping you from being possessed by spirits. However, if you wear it everyday, the feeling of tense will soon dull and its effect will fade. Therefore you had better not wear it all the time.
