The Sakaki Plants Put on the Right Side of a Shinto Altar Wither Easily

It’s getting warmer and warmer these days. It’s the period Sakaki plants wither easily. To keep them alive a little bit longer, as I can say from my long years of experience, you should unbind the rubber band binding the roots of the Sakaki plants in addition to changing the water. It’s important to separate the stems at the root of the plants to make room. And to wash away the slimy thing attaching the stems with water every time you change the water can also keep the Sakaki plants alive longer.

As the slimy thing appears at the stems, the water begins to smell bad. This is disgusting smell like sewage. This smell is really like that of spiritual beings from the World of Hell or angry spirits in great pain. Spiritual beings living near the World of Gods, on the other hand, smell really good like a flower. Spiritual bodies have its own smell according to the level of spirituality.

A local deity patrolling the area you live come into your house, gather its filthy spiritual energy and attach it to the Sakaki plants put on the right of your household shinto altar. This is why the Sakaki plants put on the right wither so quickly.

  • patrol 巡回する
  • filthy 汚れた

I think, however, that as the electromagnetic waves from the sun get intense, it becomes harder for spiritual beings, including good ones, to survive or patrol. Spiritual beings as well as human beings are subject to the change of terrestrial magnetism because spiritual bodies are made of magneitsm. I’m going to see if the Sakaki plants put on both sides of the altar begin to wither equally as the local deity disappears with time.

If spiritual beings acting as agents for true gods are told to come back by Oho-kami(太神, the abbreviation of Amaterasu-oho-mi-kami(天照太御神), they come back to merge into her and disappear. They will never be reluctant to do it or run away from her.

A lot of people still worship spiritual beings who has run away from another world, mistaking them as gods. These spiritual beings might function like the Sakaki plants put on the right side, who gather lazy and greedy people. As is predicted in Oharae no kotoba(大祓詞), Susanoo(スサノオ)will appear with his daughters, who are goddesses of purification, to clear up this world.

Certain great gods, powerful enough to absorb even the agents working for gods, are having a stronger and stronger influence on this World of Reality− Amaterasu-oho-mi-kami(天照太御神)and Kunitokotachi-o-kami(国常立太神). Their huge light pillars are standing at Ise(伊勢) and on the top of Mt. Hakusan(白山)each. I feel the pillars are getting thicker and thicker as if they’re representative of the whole nature.
