Thanks to Hardships You can Think about Life

森羅万象第6巻 表紙

While I was driving my car, I heard a radio program, where a fifth grader reading his essay aloud. The title of the essay was “Why People Live.” It was a long essay, and its conclusion was “You’ll never know it until you die.”

I was impressed, for I thought that he chose a big theme the question of which most adults couldn’t answer and made his own conclusion about it. He must have come up with the theme because he lived hard everyday being still a child. The conclusion was honest because he had a pure soul.

If he had led an idle life doing just what he wanted, he could’t have come up with such a serious theme. He might’ve studied hard instead of playing his favorite game or watching his favorite TV drama, or he might’ve been bullied at school.

It is not until you experience hardships that you begin to think about life. If your life were full of fun, you wouldn’t reconsider your lifestyle nor reflect upon yourself. And you’d take for granted what you should be grateful about and end up losing it. This is regretful for your ‘traveling’ soul because your soul couldn’t grow up and would degenerate.

Fortunately, however, this universe has been designed to lead people who take everything for granted without gratitude to an unfortunate situation for sure. Such people would be put in a predicament in the long run. If the latter half of your life is worse than the first half, you’ll feel yourself miserable. Because you know the happiness of your early life, you will feel yourself all the more miserable.

Shakuson asserted that life is full of pain. He conveyed to me that people should taste and cherish experiences of life and always be thankful. It is important that you should leave magnetism of gratitude on the spot if you feel joy or happiness at all. By doing so, you can make those happy things and your happiness keep long. Your life would be happier and happier according to the setting of the universe. If you are in some bad or sad situation, it is important for you to emit magnetism of gratitude by regarding the situation as a mercy of God that makes your mind develop. This is another setting of the universe that makes misfortune into fortune.

Being thankful for your ordinary lives is a way to keep away from pain before experiencing it. Be thankful for both good things and bad things, and the rest of your life is sure to be full of joy and fun. You may be reading this blog because you live your life seriously. You are the one who try to develop your mind.
