Drinking Hot Water

The other day, a media report said that there occurred an unnatural phenomenon of tadpoles falling from the sky above Mt. Hakusan. Asked for a comment by a reader of this blog, I replied like this;

I feel that birds like egrets ate the tadpoles and when flying, they vomited them up. I think this is due to agricultural chemicals, as well as climate change. Birds seem to be suffering from virus infection as humans do.

After I made this comment, an expert appearing on TV was saying that it was unlikely that the phenomenon was caused by birds. Such a phenomenon had never occurred before.

Before I made the comment, I had written a post to the same effect, but I deleted the post in 30 minutes, because I feared that the post would inflame public anxiety. On the day the news was broadcast and the reader asked me for an comment, I had already have a vision of the birds vomiting tadpoles. But I hesitated to make a comment about it because the phenomenon was related to the problem of residual agrichemicals.

Though I’m not sure what kind of explanations will be made about this, what I think is important is that creatures living in rice fields and water for irrigation have been contaminated by agricultural chemicals that create rejection reaction in the birds that eat the creatures.

The reason that I started to store a lot of brown rice last year has to do with the problem of agricultural chemicals and fertilizers. I felt that almost all of them were imported from abroad, and that their quality were changed largely last year.

The problem here is that farm products grown without any pesticides or fertilizers and safe drinking water are expensive. It’s not easy to have only this kind of high-quality food or water every day. Then, what should we do?

According to a message from my Kanzoku-shin(眷属神), I recommend that you should drink hot water. Even if you eat food made with the use of chemicals, drinking a lot of hot water promotes the process of excretion of the chemicals in the body.

  1. Drink a lot of body-temperature distilled water.
  2. If distilled water is not available, drink boiled mineral water, instead. If you use a water purifier, make sure that you clean the inside of it and exchange the filter regularly.

It will be more and more important to drink a lot of hot water every day.
