What Yamata-no-orochi legend Means

I just gave psychic reading to the legend of Yamata-no-orochi(ヤマタノオロチ)appearing in Japanese myths. This story includes some incidents of different periods and can be interpreted differently. This time, I’ll write about the incident of about 3500 years ago, which is relatively new of all the incidents and the core of the whole story.

Yamata-no-orochi doesn’t mean “a giant snake” but “Orochi of Yamataikoku,” historical Japanese state thought to have existed during the late Yayoi period. Yamataikoku was near Hakusan (白山)of the present time and later it moved to Nara(奈良). So the center of Yamataikoku was between Hukui (福井) and Ishikawa (石川) of the present time. Yama(=山, mountain) taikoku(=大国, big power)equals “the big power surrounded by mountains.”

After the Hakusan dynasty was assaulted by a foreign tribe, the people of the different tribe seem to have mixed with the Japanese and spread, with the lodgment area in Hokuriku region(北陸). From the Chinese continent, culture as well as the people flowed in Japan. Orochi refers to the people from China. Spiritually, it sounds like “the Orushie.” Later this Yamataikoku(ヤマタイコク) moved to the present Nara prefecture and became what is called Yamataikoku(邪馬台国).

Yamata-no-orochi means ” the Orushie people in Hakusan.” They came from the Chinese continent with iron swords and invaded toward Kyushu region(九州)taking the local Japanese prisoners. They were making an expedition from Hokuriku, a cold region, toward a warm region, when Susanoo(スサノオ), who is strongly related to the Hakusan dynasty, was born as a human in Izumo region(出雲)and avenged the descendants of the different tribe invading Japan. This is the true story of the legend of Yamatano-orochi. He, a god who took the form of a human, mounted a counterattack and destroyed the home ground of the different tribe in Hakusan. And he gave the dominion over Japan to a certain group who worshiped Amaterasuohomikami(天照太御神) and was connected to the Hebrews.

This incident is described in the scene of the myth where Susanoo dedicates Amano-murakumono-tsurugi sword(天叢雲剣 )to Amaterasuohomikmai. The reason why the different tibe is represented as a giant snake is that the Japanese abhorred them, that they came from the area of Hakusan where Kuzuryu River(九頭竜川)was(the Japanese looked on the river as a giant snake)and, what is more important, that they had tatara iron making method for making swords and the sight of red molten iron flowing was compared to the giant snake. It was the red hot iron which was represented as the giant snake with red eyes in the myth.

Water is the most important.

I have read a photo book in a bookstore before in which there were pictures showed a strange relationship between words and crystals of water.

  • photo book 写真集
  • relationship 関係
  • crystal 結晶

First, for example, the words of Amaterasuohomikami(天照太御神)are written down on a piece of paper and it is attachd to a container with water in it. Then the next day the water is frozen and a picture is taken of the molecule of the water by an electron microscope. The crystal, with a pattern of a mirror in its center, was really beautiful.

The crystal of water, on the other hand, of the container attached with a paper with the word “asshole” on it was very ugly. Though I think these pictures were picked up intentionally, it is possible spiritually speaking.

  • on the other hand 一方
  • asshole 馬鹿
  • ugly 見難い
  • pick up A Aを選ぶ

Water is the most important and precious of all. It might be a manifestation of God. More than 70 percent of a human body is composed of water. So it is possible that if you speak bad languages and think about bad things, the water in the cells which make up your body crystallize into ugly crystals, which make your blood mushy, like the picture of crystals of water mentioned above.

  • manifestation 現れ
  • be composed of A Aから構成されている

Water consists of hydrogen and oxygen. In Japanese, Suiso(水素)and Sanso(酸素). The first sounds of these words are Su(ス) and Sa(サ), that is Susa(スサ). The function of water is exactly the same as that of Susanoo(スサノオ). Purge and purification are the functions of Susanoo, just like water.

  • consist of A Aから成り立っている
  • hydrogen 水素
  • oxygen 酸素
  • function 機能
  • purge 浄化
  • purification 祓い

You can’t laugh at this word game of the Japanese language, for in the ancient world, secret Japanese languages did influence Nature and Heaven and Earth. I feel the Japanese language is based on the sounds sent from the World of Gods. It is interesting that there are abnormally many common words of the same sound between the Hebrew language and the Japanese.

  • laugh 笑う
  • the ancient word 太古
  • Nature 自然
  • the World of Gods 神界

Most of the secret languages are hidden in the name of deites of Japanese Shinto(日本神道)according to the function and action of each deity. When you say aloud a true name of a deity, the holy spirit does come close to you. So you must not conjure up a holy spirit just for fun. Because if you don’t know Kotodama(言霊), spiritual words, to return the spirit, you’ll be punished.

  • deity 神
  • according to A Aに応じて
  • conjure up A Aを呼び出す

There is one deity whose hidden name and publicized one accords―Amaterasuohomikami. The Kotodama(言霊)to return this deity ,which is conjured up by the name “Amaterasuohomikmai“, is “I Ka Shi Te I Ta Da I Te  A Ri Ga To U Go Za I Ma Su“(生かして頂いて ありがとう御座位ます). By saying these words, you can conjure up Amaterasuohomikmai and have it enter your body. If you say these words, you’ll sympathize with it according to the degree of manifestation of your Inner God.

  • Inner God 内在神

Well, the apparent proof that Susanoo is a deity who purifies sins and impurity by using water exists at the last part of The Great Purificaton Words(大祓詞), where the functions of Seoritsuhime-kami(瀬織津姫神), a goddess of water, and the process of purification in which she purifies sins and impurity by submerging them into seawater are described.

The reason why we put a small container with some water in it in front of a household shinto altar as an offering is to substitute the surface of the water with a mirror and to reproduce the purification by Susanoo. It is very important to exchange the water every day. A secret of my being strong is also due to desparate, serious daily bathing.
