Diary on a Trip to Ise and Mt.Hakusan – PART 11

Standing in front of the main building of Hakusan Chukyo Shrine(白山中居神社), I felt spiritual vibrations of ancient deities. They were those of Izanagi(イザナギ) and Izanami(イザナミ)or of the whole mountain. In large shrines that have fain in Mt.Hakusan, rituals for Izanagi and Izanami are performed. It was in the later years that Kukurihime-shin(ククリヒメ神)was added to the main deities Izanagi and Izanami. Originally, Hakusan Shrines were shrines where only Izanagi and Izanami were worshipped.Kukurihime-shin had been concealed for a long time as the secret deity who harmonized her parents, Izanagi and Izanami.

According to Japanese myths, Izanagi and Izanami gave birth to all deities belonging to Amatsu-kami (天津神)and Kunitsu-kami(国津神) and produced the land of Japan. However, just as Izanagi and Izanami are not especially worshipped in Ise Grand Shrine, most present shrines that worship deities belonging to Amatsu-kami don’t make much of them.

In the present shinto shrines, various rites and rituals are performed not with Izanagi and Izanami being the main deities but with Kukurihime-shin being such. In Hakusan shrines, in contrast, Izanagi and Izanami have been worshipped as their main deities since ancient times. It can be said that Mt. Hakusan is the mountain where Izanagi and Izanami still rest.

Then I went to a small shrine on the right side of the main building where Amaterasu-o-ho-mi-kami was worshipped, when I got the same vision of a sundisc as the one I get in Ise.  And at another small shrine whose main deity was Ninigi shin(ニニギ神), I felt the same kind of holy energy. Also, at a small shrine near the entrance of Hakusan Chukyo Shrine whose main deity was Sarutahiko-shin(猿田彦神), I sensed a holy energy.

  • sundisc 日輪

Such a shrine is rare in that all small shrines in the precincts are active. Though there are a lot of shrines whose main deity is Ninigi-shin all over Japan, this was the first one where I could feel the holy energy. It is unfortunate that most of them have become so polluted with visitors’ energy of greed that I can’t feel any holy energy there.

Hakusan Chukyo Shrine is where all stars of deities who descended to earth in ancient times, which is called Tensonkorin(天孫降臨), including Izanagi and Izanami, still reiside and rest. It can be the main stage for the second Tensonkorin. It is interesting that Geku(外宮) of Ise Grand Shrine and Hakusan Chukyo Shrine were both founded during the reign of Emperor Yuryaku(雄略天皇). I feel that here lies the divine will of Kuni-tama(国魂), the guardian deity of a country who steers the state behind the scenes.

As the line between Mt.Hakusan and Ise on which holy energy falls “opens up,” this shrine will be more and more famous. It is when a lot of people visit this shrine and Ise that these places are spiritually connected and a new door of the World of Gods will open. This is what was designed by God a long, long time ago. When this happens, all conflicts will be resolved in harmony, such as conflicts between Amatsu-kami and Kunitsu-kami, nations, people, family members and so on.

It seems that intervention from the future into the present is needed for children of the future to be born. This has to do with the advent of UFOs, which suggests the intervention from the future. In Japanese myths, Kukurihime-shin disappears suddenly after mediating the quarrels of her parents, never to appear. After her disappearance, a lot of deities were born. That is, she came from the future beyond time and space to save her parents. This is the reason she had to disappear.

If you can afford to make a round trip between Ise and Mt.Hakusan, you may be the one that came from the future with the mission to harmonize human beings. I want you to do this with care as a representative for those who cannot afford to or all human beings.

  • can afford to~ 〜する余裕がある

Even If you cannot afford to for some reasons, there’s no problem. All you have to do is cleanse your spiritual line and remind yourself of gratitude, which contribute to the world. It’s also important to visit the shrine of your birthplace and a shrine near your house. But remember, when you do these, you must do it by yourself or with your family, not in a group, because doing them in a group doesn’t meet the will of the gods.

After this, I visited Nagataki Hakusan Shrine(長滝白山神社) and Shirayama Hime shrine(白山比咩神社) and completed this trip to Ise and Mt.Hakusan finally. Now I feel everyday that I’ve become much younger in body and in mind.

Multiplicity of Stories Hidden in Kojiki PART 1

Before the dimension of the World of Reality, that of the World of Gods formed first.  A lot of events occurred in the World of Gods among energy bodies that came to be unique. With such events being prototypes, the similar events have been transcribed into this World of Reality over and over through ages.

  • dimension 次元
  • form 形作られる
  • prototype 原型
  • transcribe 転写する

Kojiki(古事記) is a story book that describes the events, regardless of time series, that occurred in many civilizations or regions through various eras, from the period of the creation of the earth up to about 2000 years ago. I find that there are a number of places in this book that were written by the author who were receiving the spiritual vibration from a super-ancient holy spirit involved with the creation of the earth. As a matter of course, there are some places that were erased, manipulated, or interpolated by persons of power of the time. This is why Kojiki has a complicated structure and is not easy to understand.

  • region 地域
  • era 時代
  • creation 創造
  • super-ancient 超古代の
  • involved 関与した
  • erase 削除する
  • interpolate 付け加える
  • structure 構造

I’m going to explain the multiplicity of the story, using the scene of Ukehi(ウケヒ) in Kojiki as an example.

1)  Susanoo refused the order to “rule the open sea” from his father Izanagi(イザナギ) and kept crying wanting to go to Ne-no-kuni(根の国), or Yomi-no-kuni(黄泉の国), where his dead mother was. Because of his crying, lush green mountains with a lot of trees turned the ones of dead trees and the sea and rivers all dried up. Izanagi got angry with this and said to him “Then, you must not live in this country” and banished him.

  • multiplicity 多重性
  • refuse 拒む
  • lush 青々とした
  • dry up 干上がる
  • banish 追放する

Susanoo decided to go to Ne-no-kuni after visiting his older sister Amaterasu(アマテラス) and ran up to Taka-ama-hara(高天原) that Amaterasu was ruling over, with mountains, rivers and lands shaking. Amaterasu was surprised at this, and she thought he would come to seize the land, so she wore a men’s clothes and watched out for him, drawing her bow to its full extent.

  • run up 駆け上がる
  • seize 侵略する
  • bow 弓
  • watch out for A Aを警戒する

2) To remove her misunderstanding, Susanoo proposed making Ukehi, an oath, with each other. The two gods made an oath each on the opposite side of Ameno-yasu-no-kawa river(天の安の河). First, Amaterasu received a Totsuka-no-tsurugi sword(十拳剣) from Susanoo and broke it into three pieces, put them into Ama-no-manai waterside(天の真名井), shook them in it, crunched them in her mouth, and spewed them up. And from the fog of her breath then, three goddesses were born.

  • remove 取り除く
  • propose 提案する
  • oath 誓い
  • crunch 噛む
  • spew 吐き出す
  • goddess 女神

Next, Susanoo received from Amaterasu Yasaka-no-magatama-no-ihotsu-no-misumaru-no-tama (八尺の勾玉の五百箇の御珠の珠)that she wore, put it into Ama-no-manai, shook it in it, crunched it in his mouth, and spewed it up. And from the fog of his breath, five gods were born. Susano asserted that the fact that goddesses were born from his belonging proved that he had no intention to harm her. And she admitted it.

  • assert 主張する
  • inteintion 意図
  • admit 認める

Regarding 1), this kind of event actually happened in the World of Gods in super-ancient times. This pattern, that is, conflict between father and son or runaway from home, has been repeated in different countries and families throughout the ages and regions.

  • conflict 争い
  • runaway 家出
  • repeat 繰り返す

Other than this, I detect from the book an incident that occurred about 3000 years ago. There was a people living in Korean Peninsula who were good at seamanship, which is described by the sentence in Kojiki “ordered Susanoo to rule the open air.” In this case, Susanoo refers to the people from Korean Peninsula. This has nothing to do with the tales of gods in ancient times, of course. This is just an example of patterns in the World of Gods being transcribed into the World of Reality.

  • detect 探知する
  • incident 出来事
  • Korean Peninsula 朝鮮半島

One day, a large military unit of the maritime people from Korean Peninsula caused a trouble and was banished from the country. And the place it headed for was Taka-ama-hara with rice harvest culture where people worshipped the sun−Japan.

  • maritime 海洋の
  • head for A Aに向かう
  • worship 崇拝する

Japan was surprised to see groups of ships rolling in and Japanese armed soldiers watched out for them. The representative of the groups said that they just came to seek for safe refuge and had no intention to invade Japan. But the Japanese side won’t believe what he said.

To be continued.

Solar Orbit and the Slope in Yomi-no-Kuni, or the Land of The Dead

廃墟の中の鳥居

A revelation I perceived told me that seen from the outer space, the most important line of the solar orbit on this planet in the current civilization lies in Japan and it connects between Ise(伊勢)and Hakusan(白山). Though some remains of  huge rocks, which were centers of the previous civilizations, are on the line of the solar orbit, most of them disappeared deep under water due to continental drift.

In fact, scientific investigations reveal that there are a lot of remains where people worshipped the sun in the Jomon period on the line connecting Ise and Hakusan. Considering the accurate latitude and longitude, the important point of the line in Ise region is Mt.Asama(朝熊山). When you go to Izougu(伊雑宮)by train or by car after visiting Geku(外宮)and Naiku(内宮) of Ise Grand Shrine, you’ll be passing the foot of Mt.Asama, which is located between Geku and Izougu.

When you visit Ise, you should visit Izougu too, where the energy body of Amaterasuohomikami(天照太御神) resides. If you take the route, you will have received positive energy of the center of the solar orbit naturally. And then if you pay a visit to a shrine in Mt. Hakusan(the negative pole of the earth) later, the helical structure of genes in your body will be braced up as the completion of the cycle of positive and negative energy.

From time immemorial, Ise has been said to be the sacred place where the sun rises. Reading through Kojiki(古事記)spiritually, I find that the sun was born from Ise and the western part from Ise where the sun sets was called “Yomi-no-kuni,” (黄泉の国), which is the present Kumano region.

  • time immemorial 太古の昔
  • sacred 聖なる

It is Susanoo(スサノオ) who is put in charge of Yomi-no-kuni by Kunitokotachiohkami(国常立太神). Susanoo use Kenzokus(眷属), or a familiar of God, of the World of Kijin(鬼神 , a fierce god) and the World of Tengu(天狗, a long-nosed goblin). The present Kumano region is protected by Tengu spirits, who has been decreasing in number due to spiritual light of the sun.

  • familiar 使い

In the world of Kojiki, the entrance of Yomi-no-kuni is said to be in the Kumano region, but I have an intuition that it does exist around Lake Biwa(琵琶湖)of the present. I think the area has the name of Saka(坂, slope) . And on its extended line exist Mt.Hiei(比叡山) and Mt.Kurama(鞍馬山) in Kyoto.

  • entrance 入り口
  • intuition 直観
  • extended line 延長線

In Japanese myths, the spiritual slope leading to Yomi-no-kuni is said to be where a lot of people go down who used the name of God for profit. It’s a strange, visionary slope. When people go down the slope, they don’t know they’re going down because the slope is gentle. They see a lot of delicious nuts on the way, which means that when people are doing evil, they are so absorbed in it that they cannot be aware of their conscience.

  • visionary 幻の
  • gentle 険しくない
  • on the way 途中で
  • do evil 悪事を働く
  • absorbed 夢中な
  • aware 気がついて
  • conscience 良心

If they find their name called from the entrance fortunately, turn back on the way and look up from the downside, the slope has changed into a scarp like a precipice. It’s not easy to go back the slope. And what looked like nuts in going down turn out to be snakes or centipedes. When they take a look at a piece of apple they threw away, it has turned into rotten dead flesh of a man.

Though Izanagi(イザナギ)ran back the slope of Yomi-no-kuni successfully, it would be very difficult for a human soul to do it. That is to say, once you have learn to do ill in this world, it’s hard to go back to normal. However, it is not impossible to go back depending on your determination. While you’re alive, it’s important that you do your best in everything you do while having fun and sometimes reflect on yourself.

secret of kukurihimenokami

?????????????

Kukurihimenokami(ククリ姫神)is a goddess who once appaers in a part of the book Nihon Shoki(日本書記),the chronicles of Japan published in 720, where she appeared as an arbitrator at the scene of her parents fighting each other so hard as to kill each other.

Izanami got uterine cancer because of giving birth to Fire God, and hid herself into Yominokuni(黄泉の国), the land of the dead. Trying to get her back, Izanagi went there, and when they were fighting each other at Yominohirasaka(黄泉の比良坂), a borderline between this world and the other world,  Kukurihimenokami appeared as a god who stopped the fighting.

If I interpret this story spiritually in terms of the present world affairs, it means that when critical enough situations to spell the difference between life and death of human race over nuclear weapons(Fire God) come, superpowers try to break through this hopeless situation only to find conflicts spreading because of talks among them getting entangled and the moment superpowers all over the world try to push the buttons of nukes, a country, which worships goddess , watching over the whole situations , appears to arbitrate them and stop the last world war. The country of goddess is Japan, which worships Ameterasuohomikami(天照御太神).

In the myth, Amaterasuohomikami appears after the fights between Izanami and Izanagi but If those had not been resolved, Amaterasuohomikami would have never been born. The fact is Amaterasuohomikami’s spiritual body took on a form of Kukurihimenokami , appeared suddenly before them and arbitrated. This is why Kukurihimenokami appeared just once never to appear again in “Kojiki”(古事記), Japan’s oldest historical record in 712 and “Nihon Shoki.”

The same thing can be said of the World of Reality. A soul with a certain mission chooses his or her parents to be born in this world. If the parents are always quarreling  with  each other, the soul can’t be fertilized, so he or she tries to support them spiritually from behind.
