Founder of a Religion who Passed away like a Star – PART 1

I wrote a blog about a year ago like the following:

When I was making the spiritual reading, a holy spirit told me an interesting thing. It told me that when a fixed star, including the sun, shining in the night sky perishes, a human being was born into the World of Reality as part of the star. It is true that human beings have the Sun God in their hearts as Inner God. When a man who has succeeded in making his Inner God appear dies, a fixed star seems to explode and perish. Another great man will be born into this world again. When a great man dies, newspapers say “A great star falls,” which is what really happens. I asked the holy spirit if there is, and has been, such a great man in Japan in recent years. Then it replied that a few such men were in business world and unexpectedly named a certain religious leader who lived in Showa era.  It seems that a fixed star did perish when he died. I’ll explain this in detail in due time.

  • in due time   いずれ

Around 1900, some spiritually interesting persons were born all over the world as well as Japan. They were sent from another dimension so that they could make both good and bad impacts on human beings living in the 21st century. There was one religious leader among the gurus of new religions founded in Showa era, who miraculously passed away at the same time as the death of a fixed star. Most of them were dragged into hellish worlds after death, though.

  • as well as A Aだけでなく

It was when I was a junior high school student that I first knew this religious leader. I came across his black-and-white picture at a bookstore. In the picture, he, a middle-aged man, was drawing something at a desk and at the same time I saw a fox, Inari-shin (稲荷神)belonging to the World of Gods, holding a writing brush between its teeth. Then I thought “What a strange man he is !”

  • come across A Aに出くわす
  • belong  属する
  • fox 狐
  • strange 奇妙な

He must have suffered mentally when he was young because he was spiritually too sensitive. He was born with too many attributes of Ubusuna-kami(産土神). An ordinary person would be mentally ill and live an unhappy life. He searched after truth because of his suffering. Most of the people whose spiritual bodies are stronger than their physical ones tend to be very physically weak and suffer severe illness except those whose souls are special.

Suffering mentally and physically, he joined a number of religious groups for help. When he was a member of Omoto-kyo(大本教), a religious sect founded in 1892 as an offshoot of Shinto, he was selected as an automatic writer who writes down what the spirit of Deguchi Onizaburo(出口旺仁三郎) says because he was a very suitable person or medium for the job.

  • a number of A 数多くのA
  • automatic 自動の
  • write down A Aを書き留める
  • suitable 適した

He experienced or see so many strange phenomena caused by spiritual possession that he strongly felt such weird things were unnecessary. Some of the believers went crazy because of necromancy and others were sent to the mental institutions, causing family breakdown. This kind of experiences made him found his own religious group later. If he knew the existence of modern religious groups that make money in the pyramid scheme, he would be sad worrying about where their souls go after they die.

To be continued.

In Showa era, there lived a strange old woman in a mountainous area of Nara prefecture. When exorcists training themselves in Omine mountain range got possessed by evil spirits and couldn’t get rid of them by themselves, she was the last person for them to turn to. She didn’t give any advice to people in general. She just warded off evil spirits possessing professional exorcists or their spiritual dirt for food in return.

  • era 時代
  • exorcist 祈祷師
  • get rid of A Aを取り除く
  • turn to A Aに頼る
  • ward off A Aを清める

When I was young, I knew two cult leaders who had met this woman. According to what one of them told me about her, if psychics or spiritual leaders making a lot of money using the name of God died in Japan, they have to spend 21 days in the ground of her garden in the form of big earthworms before leaving this world.

  • earn 稼ぐ
  • spend 過ごす
  • form 形
  • earthworm ミミズ

She showed the earthworms to him on request. Taking off two seat mats on the ground of her garden, he saw various large and small earthworms moving on it. Strangely, the earthworms were various in kind, length, thickness and color. Some of them looked like snakes 30 centimeters long.

The day he met her was just ten days after a religious leader died secretly, so he told her only the name of his religious organization and asked her if his soul had come to the ground. She said “Ah, Mr. so and so came here recently” and pointed to one big earthworm. The earthworm was a black one about twenty centimeters long and had a weird appearance. It looked as if it were writhing in agony. The name she said was correct.

I’ve never met her before. I feel that she has something to do with a spiritual being involved in the underworld, for the area she lived in is where a huge black dragon acting for Kunitokotachi-o-kami (国常立大神)descended a long time ago.

  • have something to do with A Aと何か関係がある
  • the underworld 冥界

God is like air and serves everyone for free. So, you must not claim that God is yours, nor price it to exploit unfortunate people. Those who are connected to the World of Gods know with awe that the world is the one full of service and love. They would feel sorry for unfortunate people and be anxious to help them without expecting anything in return.

  • be anxious to~ 〜したくて仕方がない

Self-appointed psychics, spiritual gurus or spiritual healers who cannot make a living without accepting money from unfortunate ones are never qualified to do so, because those connected to the higher energy come to be able to live a life of simplicity without accepting any money from the unfortunate. Without such spiritual ability, you couldn’t possibly heal people.

  • self-appointed 自称の
  • be qualified to~ 〜する資格がない
  • simplicity 簡素
  • heal 癒す

If a psychic or spiritual healer accepts money from people, they are never connected to the right spirit world. Indeed, they hold an event one after another in order to squeeze money from people in trouble. Those who are connected to a devildom don’t hesitate to accept money from the poor. They make easy money and “eat” flesh of the opposite sex in the name of God, even breaking others’ families.

In light of the destination of their souls after death, what they do for a living is anything but a paying business. Their accounts of life are made to balance after all. Japan is a spiritually distinctive country where strange figures like her are born.

  • in light of A Aを考えると
