Enjoying Brown Rice in Soup

My working hours has changed since the beginning of this year, so I eat lunch at home and work at night, adapting myself to overseas business. There being a lot of brown rice I bought last fall, I heat it in soup stock and eat it every day. It’s really delicious.

I put a bowl of brown rice, a little sea salt, soup stock made from soy sauce, root tangle and water into a pan and heat it. When it boils, I stop heating. It takes only ten minutes as a whole. If you heat it a little longer, the brown rice becomes softer, but you’ll be hungry soon after eating it. I usually eat dinner my wife cooks early in the evening.

  • as a whole 全体として

When you pour it from the pan into a large bowl, the bowl is filled with the soup to the edge with the brown rice sinking to its bottom. Cooling it, I eat it slowly. It’s like I eat a hot-pot or noodle soup. Though I eat it every day, I’m not fed up with it because the taste is a little bit different each time due to the amount of salt and soup stock I put into it. If you add seaweed or dried squid to it, the taste changes. It would be interesting to make its taste weaker, too.

I’m going to change the kind of salt and soup stock I put into it.  I eat out several times a month, but no other food is better than the brown rice in soup I cook. I can feel power in eating it. Its cost is only 50 yen, including the price of seasoning.

With the economic situations in Japan getting worse for the last six months, I’m grateful to my Kenzoku-shin(眷属神)for the suggestion that I should eat brown rice. Brown rice is a really good economical meal and leads to good evacuation and health. And above all, eating it gives me a strange sense of security. The temperature difference being extreme these days, I hope for a good yield of brown rice in fall.

Just Studying What Sages Said Takes You Nowhere

It’s about 100 days since I touched the energy body of the third holy pillar on New Year’s Day. With my birthday coming near, I anticipate the advent of a leap year. I have an image in my head that Amatsu-kami(天津神) and Kunitsu-kami (国津神)are to integrate this week here in Japan.

What’s important in developing your spirituality is that you shouldn’t be a mere critic. Even if you’ve been studying sages of the past for fifty years, you will end up having unnecessary magnetism accumulated in your spiritual body, which is far from spiritual progress and nothing but regression in spirituality.

On the other hand,  just practicing devoting gratitude and three incense sticks to your spiritual line of your family line causes you a spiritual renovation in a short period of time. This is beyond description and it’s a kind of sense of security you experience. Unless you practice it yourself and experience the sense of security, you don’t understand what I’m saying. You’d be wrapped up in suspicion.

How do you know whether the sense of security you experience is the right sense or not? It’s safe and the right thing to do not to turn to others for the sense of security. As long as you practice it on your own, it doesn’t mean that you are deceived by someone.

  • turn to A for B Bを求めてAに頼る
  • deceive 騙す

It’s an undeniable, absolute truth that you were born of your parents. Therefore it’s the safest way for you to devote gratitude to the spiritual line of your family line, and as you practice it, you will come to feel the Holy Spirit at the origin of your ancestral spirits.

  • absolute 絶対の

Even if you just study what spiritual gurus said who, allegedly, are said to have performed miracles, your poor living conditions don’t improve. Hints you receive from their sayings are nothing but those for them only, not for you just as you can’t insert D batteries into a case for AA batteries. It will take you many years for you to understand what I’m saying. It’s up to you and your karma whether or not you take my advice with an open mind.

  • with an open mind 素直に

Each of you is like a holy star. There is nothing you have to get from another star. A star called you is on a journey and on the move. Only gravitational pull of stars moving near you, such as your family, colleagues, friends and so on, can affect you. Attracting force of sages of the past is only illusion. Cherish the star named you with confidence.

  • holy  神聖な
  • on the move 動いている
