Question 33:

This is my own experience. When I was in a state of panic, I could do nothing but repeat “Daijoubu”(大丈夫, All right, in English). When I’m really weak-spirited, should I repeat “Na Mu Kan Zen On Bo Sa Tsu  Nen Pa Kan Non Riki” rathar than ” Daijoubu, Daijoubu” ?

“Daijoubu” is also a good word, but there are too many dull sounds in it. To be sure, it has the power to soothe an immediate trouble, but lacks the power to cause the development of the next comfort. “I Ka Shi Te I Ta Da I Te  A Ri Ga To U Go Za I Ma Su leads you to the settlement, as well.

Question 34:

I’d love to hear what you feel about Yakushima Island(屋久島). For me, to visit Yakushima Island means “to return to my life.”

Regarding the Japanese Archipelago as a body of Dragon God, Kyushu(九州)corresponds to the head and Yakushima the whiskers of Dragon God. Whiskers are a tactile organ, meaning “to perceive beforehand.” That is, Yakushima can be said to be a place where some signs appear before spiritual worlds are transferred to the World of Reality. But the signs are spiritual, so it depends on spiritual competence of individuals whether the signs can be read or not.

Question 35:

Though I looked forward to visiting Omiwa jinja shrine(大神神社), I felt nothing about it when I visited it. Feeling sorry about that, I visited Sai jinja shrine(狭井神社)and felt so great about the atmosphere.

Omiwa jinja shrine is a shrine many people visit with desires to be rich or prosper their business, so there is an aspect of polluting the divine atmosphere. In that respect, Sai jinja shrine, which is closer to Mt. Miwa(三輪山), a sacred  mountain, might have more pleasant cooling sensation.

Mt.Miwa is a place for rituals with a long, long history. I feel Himiko(卑弥呼)made the vicinity of Mt. Miwa her base. Mt. Miwa has had to do with Grand Shrine of Ise since a long time ago, and it has been an important point for worship of the sun.

It is related to the rise of the modern material civilization, and when the material civilization is over, this spiritual being will also disappear.

Question 36:

Our families use not tap water but well water. Is there something we should do about it? Is it better to devote ” I Ka Shi Te I Ta Da I Te  A Ri Ga To U Go Za I Ma Su” to the well ?

It’s good to devote gratitude to the well about once a month. There lives a water god in a well. Concretely, you stand a wooden stick upright by the well, wind Sakaki(榊),  a spiecies of evergreen sacred to Shinto, around it with a paper string, and devote gratitude. It’s also good t0 scatter some salt around the well regularly.
